New CEWP Activities 2017-2021 supported by the EU Partnership Instrument

The EU Commission has decided to support the China Europe Water Platform with 6 mio € in grants for activities to be implemented during 2017-2021. Five Consortia are now developing concrete proposals.

The EU Commission has issued a press release about the recent CEWP discussion about the PI Activities. You can find the press release at the EU Commission website.

Through a 6 mio € grant from the European Commission and an additional co-funding of 1,5 mio € from the involved Member States, five Consortia are now developing proposals for activities to be implemented during 2017-2021.

The five consortia areas are working with topics linking water management to the key drivers for water use and water pollution: Food & Agriculture; Energy; Urbanization; River Basin Management and Ecosystem Services.
