An open call to support activities of Cooperation Between Europe and China on Emerging Issues of mutual interest in the field of Water is open from the 1st of June until the 21st of June 2018 (12:00 p.m. CEST).
The China Europe Water Platform was established to achieve the objectives of realising good governance in managing water resources, enhancing mutual understanding on approaches in integrated water resources policy development and implementation, promoting the exchange of innovative knowledge and technologies to meet common challenges, creating opportunities for private sector and research institutes on both sides to undertake business development and joint research programs of common interest.
In the Frame of CEWP, EU has supported CEWP activities through Partnership Instrument Lot 5 – Horizontal Activities Project. The objective of Horizontal Activities Program is to support policy dialogue on water sector reform and improvement, capacity building, innovation and business cooperation between China and EU and its Member States.
In Workpackage 3 of Horizontal Activities project the objective is to explore issues of mutual interest and benefit policy and related challenges, approaches and possible impact, to analyse and describe how synergies can be achieved and trade-offs avoided, and to develop proposals for how China and Europe specifically can cooperate about selected issues.
With this framework we inform that a call is open to support activities of Cooperation Between Europe and China on Emerging Issues of mutual interest.
